Well, there's not really that much to say about this one. The inspiration for this skin was a combination of guilt for not skinning enough, a need to experiment with warm colors (something that has been rather lacking in my graphical designs up until now), and renewed enthusiasm that got me to resume this project after a failed redesign attempt of flatmatt.com in a similar style.
This skin was started sometime in April or May 2004. The main reason for the large gap was the loss of a font, "Avant Garde," essential to the creation of the skin. It just disappeared. It wasn't on either of my computers. I still don't know where it went.
Finally, I went on a search for substitute fonts and found that "Intrepid" made a fine, if not better, substitute for Avant Garde.
Well, I guess that was a bit more to talk about than I thought I had.
