What is MooAMP Wide Screen?
---------------------------
MooAMP WS is a skin set for Nullsoft's Winamp 2.0 or later. It completly changes the orginal
style to a well made and useful cow style.
Installation problems
---------------------
If you have an older version of Winamp you need to save the .wsz file on your drive and
then unzip it to your [WinampSkins] directory, usually located in [Program Files].
Then enter [Options/Skin Browser] or us Alt+S and mark the folder/filename. Now everything
is set.
History
-------
1.5 - Realized my ideas of a Wide Screen MooAMP version.
1.6 - 3D-lized surface, improved frame around displays and made a fat display in min. mode.
----- (This is a very big jump, but I did it to match Winamp's version number.)
2.0 - Made two new skins for the play list and eqcowlizer, remade volume and balance controls.
2.1 - Edited the ecowlizer buttons, modified the main font, remade display border, fixed bugs.
2.2 - New border, new scrollbar to the play list, fading text when scrolling volume & balance.
2.3 - New skins for minibrowser & ecowlizer in windowshade mode.
2.4 - Locked PL font, changed font color & increased display in MB, removed black border.
2.5 - EC cows open their mouths on click, defined region on Main & EC, some small PL mods.
Colormode
---------
I strongley suggest to use the display mode hi-color (16-bit) or better. It would look best in
that way with all the shadings etc. If you use 256 colors display I think it's will look like
crap and you don't what to see MooAMP WS in crap mode. So update you're graphic card drivers.
Why?
----
This was my first vision of how MooAMP should have looked, but at that time I couldn't realize
my ideas in good looking way and instead the original version of MooAMP was borned. After a
while my near friend, Shades (info-is@in-file), wanted to try making the old version, based on
my sketches, and he did. His version, never finished, showed me that a Wide Screen version of
MooAMP will look good too. So I started to modify the original version and here it is. Hope
you like it too! It took about 5 hours to complete the main skin, about 4 to complete the
playlist and ecowlizer and about 8 more hours to make all updates.
