Lufia. The Legend, The Legacy, The Skin.
This skin took me months to create since I didn't concentrate on it entirely. I knew someone had to make a Lufia Skin so I could listen to my Lufia songs. And when I found this pic it just said 'SKIN ME' all over it. I mean, look at it. The Four Heros looking at Doom Island with uncertain eyes. I really hate the way Selan is cut off. A lot of work went into making just her face show up! Guy is totaly cut off. A lot of people go: "Guy is there?" Yes, he is. BESIDES the mini-pic of him. That brings me to a new subject.
The 2 mini-pics of Arty and Guy fighting are actual size pics I found. They came on a Japanese ad for the game. And I had to cut them out, but I also had to deal with the Japanese writing on them. Most annoying. The buttons really didn't come out the way I wanted them. To make cutting and pasting possible I had to make it completly black around them. So there's always this ugly black box coming out of Doom Island in the Backround.
The shrink, maximize, and kill buttons were the most annoying thing of this project. Their so small they look like something out of Super Smash Brothers: Melee. (SSB:M has the smallest items I've ever seen in my life.) Not to mention I could only make it partially light up and not move, cause that's all it would let me. The Boat on the POSbar looks so stupid in my opinion. I had to shrink and shrink and SHRINK. I started off with a marvelous sprite, and shrunk it and cut off the top and bottom to that thing. I was never really satisfied with the black box the boat was surronded by.
Let's see what else, the text. The text I really just copied the concept of the pattern: dark, light, really light, light, dark. This pattern makes it almost glow and look 3D. I stole this from the Ghostbusters Deluxe skin, making it my own shades of course! I originally made the font Olde English. But it was so small and Olde English is such a complicated font that you couldn't read it if your life depended on it.
