Though it is not the first winamp skin I've made, it is the first I've decided to offer by Winamp's site. All skins that I already have made weren't so bad, but I just thought they vere not good enough. Though I've spend many hours to make some sci-fi or interesting 3D skins finally I understood that I never use those just because they are not so easy to use and to control the winamp. I always liked both silver and dark coloured hi fi stuff, so this time I've decided to connect both worlds, so I made this dark grey-silver combination. As you can see, I avoided to add all these "spectrum analizer", "dolby surround", "MP3" and similar fancy titles that some other skin-authors usually do. I do believe that it's much easier to use Winamp without such decorations. If you ever have seen some old NAD or Harman K. amplifier you'll know what I am talking about.
Though I prefer volume knobs, I had to do it linear (classic) this time because if I made knob then I'd have problem with position bar-then it must "travel" over the volume knob so it could look stupid. Yes, it's even possible to exclude position bar from winamp skin, but I think we all need that.
So, I hope you'll like it. If it is the case, send some mail to me with few nice words in it... Othervise, send to me mail with your critics-it will help me to make better version of this (or some another) winamp skin. Thanks, anyway...
