Hi! Thanks for downloading this skin. The main purpose of this skin was to demonstrate the use of semi-transparency. Here, the Main Window's WindowShade mode is semitransparent Microsoft (tm) style--in other words, an effect of semitransparency is given by having every other pixel transparent. Too bad Winamp 2.X doesn't support Alpha blending! However, one issue of semitransparency is that because every other pixel is transparent, when you click, you have a 50% chance of actually "hitting" winamp; the other times you will select whatever is behind it. I was going to make a skin with the whole main window transparent, but the Region.txt file (which defines the transparency) was about 500k, so it didn't work. To make EACH transparent pixel, I had to define 4 coordinates in the region.txt file. This would be WAY too much work to do by hand, so I made a C++ program that did it for me. If you find the psuedo-semi-transparency thing annoying, just use a ZIP program like WinZip to unzip the skin file, and rename the file "Region.txt" to something else.
