My tribute to Star Trek's LCARS computer systems with a 3D enhancement. Boy this has had many facelifts, from no trans to trans to no trans to trans again. Cursors were added, colors changed (damn the whole thing was changed). It's seen alot. It also was put on WinAmp.com's site for best skins. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it (improving it, remaking it, then improving it again)

Due to some comments, I've decided to change the colors a little, and probably from now on, this won't be in 3D anymore. If there are comments to keep it 3D, there might be a 2D and a 3D version.
-Version 5.0-
No, guess I won't ever stop this. I keep improving and improving it. Well, here's a list of the new features. Now it looks more 3D'ish than ever, new trans (what an F*in pain!), slightly new layout, new layout for the EQ and the PL, and new cursors. Now, I'm trying to leave this in the wind and let it go away, but I think this will stick with me for the rest of my skinning career.

Well here I am again (am I ever going to stop this skin??!!). I made it transparent, and I cheated on that with a prog. called "Trans Trace" (see above). I cheated with it because it's a nice prog. and i didn't want to do the trans. by hand. I also redid the cursurs (blue just didn't work). And also made other tweeks to make it look good (like it could look any better). I don't think I'll ever stop this skin, I just keep on thinking of more ways to improve it. Well, untill next skin (or improvement on this one)!!!!

Well, guess I made more improvements to this skin. Mostly I changed the colors, the spectrum analyser thing, I removed the region.txt because I remade it so all the windows go together, and I added cursors! And it just looks better, I think. Well, until next skin!!!

I'm pleased to bring yet another "LCARS Mpeg Utility", but wait, you ask, "But, isn't this LCARSAmp version 3.0?" Yes it is. I changed the name because "LCARSAmp" sounds much better than "LCARS Mpeg Utility". This one's the best of the bunch with EVERYTHING redone from scratch, even the transparentcy effects (if you want to use them, rename regio to region ). The only thing that is the same is the font for the Play List. I don't plan on making any higher versions of this skin so this might be the last of LCARSAmp (or LCARS Mpeg Utility).

Well, in accordance to non-popular demand (people who hated 3D LCARS), I made a 2D version of LCARS Mpeg Utility ver 2.0. Its exactly the same as the 3D ver, only 2D, EVEN THE TRANSPARENTCIES, I didn't even work on them! So if you like it, use it. If you don't, well don't tell me about it just delete it and give me some suggestions NICELY at info-is@in-file and also visit my site at http://come.to/joshx. See Ya next skin!

Finaly, I'm done! The only long and boring part was the "region.txt". Making transparentcies sucks! Well, all that work was for nothing, the trans. sucks as well. If you want to see it, rename "regio" to "region", who knows, you might like it! Enough about that. This skin was almost completly redone, I changed the colors, the buttons, the text, and added and changed some other things (You'll See!). This skin was made by a program that was bought for me,---ADOBE PHOTSHOP 5.0---. It's really cool! But I also used good ol' Macromedia Fireworks for this as well. Well that's it for now, e-mail me with suggestions or comments! (Below is documentation from ver. 1.5)

This is an update for the lcars mpeg utility skin version 1.0, created by the creator. I wanted to send this one as v 1.0, but I sent the wrong zip file. So here it is and named v1.5 enjoy! Oh! I forgot, the old version had greys in it and if you have your screen at full brightness, they became annoying, well, "I" thought they were. I also added icons in the play list insted of words, changed the spectrum colors and the time counter colors, replaced the dotted yellow lines with smoother, fadeing red lines, chaned the volume sliders from green to blue (better that way), fixed the window shading, fixed the annoying play list sliding bar where it repeats the thing, well you know! And I also added "waiting for input" in the spectrum area for when winamp isn't playing (I think it's kinda cool). Oh, and also, I didn't add the transparency effects yet, STILL working on it. Probably the next version will have it. So if you have any comments, questions, or sugestions about this skin (NO SPAMS!), E-mail me at the above address. If you just completly hate this skin, DON'T USE IT!!!! And if you have any clue about making areas of a skin transparent, HELP ME PLEASE!
