readme ever. =) Fitting, don't you think?

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Well, here it is at long last! After almost 6 months on the board, I'm reasonably happy with it - I've had to scrap many of the ideas I began with, and there are a few areas that I am certain I could have done better, but that's all part of Winamp skinning. I've managed to incorporate all the characters that I wanted to, and that makes me happy. If you see someone you don't know, check the character list at the end for a list of faces and names that are in each window. Apologies to anyone who was rooting for Shermy, Patty, Violet, Frieda, any number of Snoopy's Walter Mitty incarnations, and the long list of one-timers like Molly Volly, but there just wasn't enough room.

WHY I MADE THIS SKIN:

I made this skin because sometime in May, someone in the Skin Love forum at Winamp.com made a 'toon skin, and then someone else (me) had to open his fat mouth and suggest that everyone make a 'toon skin for a showcase that was supposed to hit the public in August. I will state plainly here that I WOULD NOT HAVE FINISHED THIS SKIN had it not been for the constant hounding I recieved from a certain free-lance artist we all know and love, and a certain
forum administrator who lives across the pond.

WHAT THIS SKIN MEANS TO ME:

I'll be honest - Peanuts was not my favorite strip growing up. I found Jim Davis's cat much more to my liking. But as I've grown older, I've come to love the Peanuts strips. In this skin I have tried very hard to remain true to the feeling of Peanuts, that indescribable feeling that maybe you don't know what's going on, and maybe everyone else doesn't know what's going on, and maybe everything won't end up perfect - but that somehow everything will be alright.
