My second attempt! This one turned out better than my first one, Ortas_Skin.
To get the most out of my skin, you'll have to use Winamp 2.9x, because I have skinned the library, WVS, and video for 2.9x, but it should just diplay fine in anything before that version as well.
Just a side note, the pic was taken from the
www.kenshin.it webpage. You should visit that page. It's awesome.
Ver. 1
------
This was done entirely in paint, except for one part in the equalizer that is shaded red. That part was done in Print Shop Photo Pro 2.0.
No cursors (yet) but I plan on adding them.
Ver. 1.5
--------
I've decided to put in "Status Indicators" on my windows, To make it more visible if a window is active, except for the Main, Equalizer and Playlist windows. I think it's pretty obvious when they are active. I also updated this file so that it has the updated name for my skin. Someone else had Sano_Amp. -_-
ANYWAY... I fixed an error on the gen template that left out a line on the left side. I have also made my Balance Bar transparent, because most people probabaly keep it in the middle anyway.
I've made my Minibrowser buttons appear 3D when you click them, as well as the main window's buttons (Previous, Play, Pause, etc.)
In addition, I've made the volume Shuriken a gradient instead of two solid colors, and I've done the same on the Shurikens on the Equalizer.
...But wait, There's more! I've also made the Sliders and Buttons in the Genex.bmp 3D.
One more new feature... If you look at the top of the Generic Windows (like the library and the WVS), you'll notice that the letters have less spacing. I thought they had too much spacing, so I took away a little space.
Almost all of these new features come courtesy of Print Shop Photo Pro 2.0. Also, EVERY new effect is done by hand with the mouse (Save for the spectrum analyzer, which I used calculator and notepad, and the new spacing, done in paint). All this work makes me very proud of this skin. Maybe next time around I'll do the cursors (Maybe...)
Suggestions and Self-Promotion
------------------------------
I'm open to suggestions, so if you have any, e-mail me at info-is@in-file
I will also make skins for a website, free of charge, (so long as it's a anime website for a show I like) if you ask me, but be prepared to wait if you decide on me. No promises though. I don't exactly have free time oozing out of me.
dont know where to put this yet :)
1) gen.bmp has a generic window frame for plugins to use.
its format is similar to the minibrowser's.
In addition gen.bmp includes a font for the titlebar, in both
highlight and no-highlight modes. The font is variable width,
and it uses the first color before the letter A as the delimiter.
The no-highlight form of letter must be the same width as the
highlight form.
2) genex.bmp has button and scrollbar images, as well as some individual
pixels that describe the colors for the dialog. The button and
scrollbar images should be self explanatory (note that the buttons
have 4 pixel sized edges that are not stretched, and the center is
stretched), and the scrollbars do something similar.
The colors start at (48,0) and run every other pixel. The meaning
of each pixel is:
x=48: item background (background to edits, listviews etc)
x=50: item foreground (text color of edit/listview, etc)
x=52: window background (used to set the bg color for the dialog)
x=54: button text color
x=56: window text color
x=58: color of dividers and sunken borders
x=60: selection color for listviews/playlists/etc
x=62: listview header background color
x=64: listview header text color
x=66: listview header frame top color
x=68: listview header frame middle color
x=70: listview header frame bottom color
x=72: listview header empty color
x=74: scrollbar foreground color
x=76: scrollbar background color
x=78: inverse scrollbar foreground color
x=80: inverse scrollbar background color
x=82: scrollbar dead area color
